Traffic Order 202

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Council of the London Borough of Redbridge, after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, propose to make the above-mentioned Order in exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 84 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a 20 miles per hour zone in the roads and in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. A further effect of the Order would be to consolidate existing 20 MPH Zone into the same Order.
3. A copy of the Order, of the Order being revoked, together with a plan of the area and the Council’s Statements of Reason for proposing to make the order, along with more detailed particulars of the scheme, may be inspected between 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays, until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, at the 10th Floor (front), Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford Essex IG1 1NN.
4. Any person wishing to object or make representations on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection or representation and the grounds thereof to the Head of Highways and Transportation, Lynton House, 255-259 High Road, Ilford, Essex, IG1 1NY quoting reference Common/20MPH/DB – SA by no later than 5th September 2024.
