What is happening?
STEVENAGE BOROUGH COUNCIL THE BOROUGH OF STEVENAGE (PRIMETT ROAD, STEVENAGE) (RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024 and
THE BOROUGH OF STEVENAGE (BASILS ROAD, STEVENAGE) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING, LOADING OR UNLOADING) ORDER 2024 and
THE BOROUGH OF STEVENAGE (BASILS ROAD, STEVENAGE) (GOODS VEHICLE LOADING BAY) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Stevenage Borough Council with the consent of Hertfordshire County Council in Order to improve road safety and improve the amenities of the area proposes to make the above Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce 'no waiting at any time' restrictions as set out in Schedule 1 of this Notice, introduce 'no waiting, no loading or unloading at any time' restrictions as specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice, and introduce a goods vehicles loading bay as set out in Schedules 3 to this Notice.
Documents giving more detailed particulars may be inspected from 15 August 2024 during normal office hours at the Council offices, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1HN or may be viewed online at https://www.stevenage.gov.uk/proposed-traffic-orders General enquiries relating to the proposals should be referred to Liviu Azoicai via email at tro@stevenage.gov.uk or by telephone 01438 242 242. Objections to the proposals, stating the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to Liviu Azoicai, Stevenage Borough Council, Daneshill House, Danestrete, Stevenage SG1 1 HN or tro@stevenage.gov.uk by 6 September 2024.
Schedule 1: No waiting at any time - effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order: Part of Primett Road. Schedule 2: Prohibition of Waiting. Loading or Unloading - effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order: Part of Basils Road.
Schedule 3: Goods vehicles loading bay -effecting that section of road herein listed and as set out in the Order: Part of Basils Road. Consulting on this scheme is a statutory duty of the Borough Council. Any personal data you provide in responding to this Notice will be treated as confidential but will be shared with Borough Council Officers; Borough Councillors and contracted third parties who are involved in the statutory process. We will not share identifiable data with third parties outside of the statutory process.
