What is happening?

(C42 Ancrum to Broom Farm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (C42 Ancrum to Broom Farm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 each day. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C42 from Ancrum to Broom Farm.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the D66/4, C54, B6400 and South Myrescroft to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
(Grafton Road, Yetholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Grafton Road, Yetholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 09:30 on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect until 23:59 on 29 August 2024 – 24 hour closure. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Grafton Road, Yetholm outside Shirrafield.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via Grafton Road, Dow Brae, High Street, Grafton Court and Grafton Road to the point of closure, for northbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
(D94-3 Letham – South of Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (D94-3 Letham – South of Jedburgh) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of twelve days between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for BT Openreach works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D94-3 at Letham, south of Jedburgh.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the A6088 and A68 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
(A698 Crailing To B6400 Junction) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (A698 Crailing to B6400 Junction) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of five days between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for resurfacing works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A698 from Crailing to the B6400 junction.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A698, A68, A699, B6352 and A698 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
(Mill Wynd & Mid Row, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (Mill Wynd & Mid Row, Lauder) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 09:00 and 21:00. The Order is required for Scottish Water works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along Mill Wynd, Lauder at its junction with Mid Row. The alternative route is via Factors Park and the A68.

(B6352 Catch A Penny, Yetholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024
The Scottish Borders Council (B6352 Catch a Penny, Yetholm) (Temporary Closing) Order 2024 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force at 19:00 on 19 August 2024 and is expected to remain in effect overnight until 06:00 on 20 August 2024. The Order is required for tree removal works.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the B6352 at Catch a Penny, Yetholm from the C49 junction northwest for 350 metres.
The alternative route for south eastbound traffic is via the B6352, B6436, B6401 and B6352 to the point of closure, for north westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
