Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Greater Leys, Grenoble Road -Temporary Parking Suspension Date of Order: 12/08/2024 Coming into force: 19/08/2024

This Order is being introduced because of works associated with 'Ellison Institute' as a holding area for delivery management to the site. The restriction is anticipated to be completed February 2026 operating Monday to Friday 07:00hrs to 18:00hrs and Saturday 07:00hrs to 13:00hrs. Times will vary with Oxford United match days.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily suspend parking on Grenoble Road between Guelder Road and Frys Hill -approx. 240 metres to Bus Stop which will be maintained. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exceptions are included for emergency service vehicles and for the purpose of the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.

The relevant parts of the '24 hour Parking Places for Permitted Vehicles' covered by the "Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford Area - Various Streets) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Permitted Parking) Order 2022") as amended will be temporarily suspended. (Ref: T14175/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Oxford, Aristotle Lane Footpath Date of Order: 12/08/2024 Coming into force: 19/08/2024

This Order is being introduced because of footpath improvements which is anticipated to be completed 30 August 2024. This is a 24 hour footpath closure.

The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the footpath to Port Meadow. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of footpath.

The alternative route will be signed via Port Meadow, Walton Well Road and the Canal Tow Path. (Ref: T14047/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Oxford, Little Clarendon Street Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 12/08/2024 Coming into force: 19/08/2024

This Order is being introduced because of new electricity connection works which are anticipated to be completed 30 August 2024. This is a 24 hour road closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in Little Clarendon Street. The one-way traffic restriction will be suspended to enable access/egress from both ends of the road. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic is via Walton Street, Beaumont Street, St Giles and vice versa.

The relevant part of the Oxfordshire County Council (Walton Manor, Oxford) (Parking Places and Traffic Management) (Consolidation) Order 2003 (as amended) for the one way restriction will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the Works.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T14174/AC)
