TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
UNNAMED ROAD FROM NEW ROAD B6062 TO A6, BUXWORTH
WHEN: 19 August to 20 August 2024
WHERE: Unnamed Road from New Road B6062 to A6, Buxworth just past Carrington House.
REASON: To facilitate road patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: New Road, Station Road, Brierley Green, B6062 from Leaden Knowle to Brierley Green, Leaden Knowle, Lower Lane, Green Lane, Buxton Road, Hayfield Road, Roundabout on A624 at Federal Mogul, Foresters Way, Roundabout on A6 Nr Bowden, Chapel By-pass, Bowden Lane, Roundabout on A6 at Bridgemont, Unnamed Road from New Road to A6 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
