U6106 OLYMPIA GARDENS HOOD STREET BACK LANE MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6106 Olympia Gardens Hood Street Back Lane Morpeth from the rear of number 49 Olympia Gardens to the rear of 41 Olympia Gardens for a length of 14 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 9th September 2024 until the 20th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th September 2024 until the 13th September 2024 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the Morrison Road, Hood Street and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to renew lead service. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
