Macclesfield Road - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
MACCLESFIELD ROAD, BUXTON

WHEN: 02 September to 13 September 2024 (5 days only within this period with daily hours of 09:30-15:30 weekdays only).
WHERE: West Road, Macclesfield Road, Buxton between Jcts. with A515 & A53.
REASON: To facilitate highway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: High Street, Terrace Road, The Quadrant, St Johns Road, Water Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
