Definitive Map Modification Order (No 6) 2018

The above Order, made on 21st May 2018, was confirmed on 7th August 2024 and will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by:-
Former Berwick-upon-Tweed Borough
Byway Open to All Traffic No 30 / Public Footpath No 3
(Parish of Ancroft)
Upgrading to byway open to all traffic status (and renumbering as BOAT No 30), part of Public Footpath No 3, from a near right-angle bend in the U17 road at Goswick Golf Clubhouse (O.S. Grid Ref NU 0476 4592), in a south-easterly direction along the U17 road (which is also existing Public Footpath No 3) for a distance of 1420 metres, to a field gate, 55 metres east of Goswick Farm (NU 0594 4516).
These details are shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the Council Offices of Berwick, Walkergate Building, Walkergate, TD15 1DJ and the offices of the Legal Services Manager, County Hall, Morpeth during normal working hours. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased.

The Order became operative on 7th August 2024 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any regulation has not been complied with in relation to this Order, he or she may, within six weeks from 15th August 2024 make an application to the High Court for that purpose.
