TRAFFIC ORDER PROPOSALS - PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON KINGS FURLONG DRIVE AND WINCHESTER ROAD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council ("the Council") proposes to make the above-mentioned Order, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 122(1) and 122(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act, and of all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.

GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDER: Will be to impose a prohibition of waiting on Kings Furlong Drive and Winchester Road as follows:

Sides of road at Basingstoke

No waiting at any time

Road: Kings Furlong Drive

Side: Both

Length: For its entire length

Road: Kings Furlong Drive (Turning Circle)

Side: North, East and West

Length: For its entire Circulatory

Road: Winchester Road

Side: North

Length: Between its junction with Kings Furlong Drive and a point 26 metres north-east thereof.

Road: Winchester Road

Side: North

Length: Between its junction with Kings Furlong Drive and a point 12 metres south-west thereof.

Road: Winchester Road

Side: South

Length: Between a point 12 metres south-west of its junction with Kings Furlong Drive and a point 40 metres north-east of that point, an approximate distance of 40 metres
