ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14

(THORPE ROAD, CHACOMBE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Thorpe Road, Chacombe as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Thorpe Road, Chacombe from Chinnor Farm to Jeffs Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a water new water connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: use B4525 and Middleton Road.

(ROTHERSTHORPE ROAD, KISLINGBURY)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Rothersthorpe Road, Kislingbury as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Rothersthorpe Road, Kislingbury from Gayton Road for 100 metres north.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a water new water connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

(HIGH STREET, ASTCOTE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of High Street, Astcote as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of High Street, Astcote from the junction of Sutton Walk to Shoemaker Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during a water new water connection.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

(HOE WAY & HIGH STREET, ROADE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Hoe Way and High Street, Roade as set out below.

LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Hoe Way at its junction with Hyde Road. High Street at its junction of London Road to The Green.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gas replacement works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for five weeks.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: For Hoe Way use Grafton Way and High Street use The Green, Northampton Road and London Road.

(TOLLGATE WAY, NORTHAMPTON)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Tollgate Way, Northampton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Tollgate Way, Northampton from Weedon Road roundabout to Main Road junction.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during gully cleansing.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for five days.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Fullingdale Road, Northampton from Whitelands Road to Longland Road.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for three days.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of A421 Buckingham Road, Evenley as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of A421 Buckingham Road, Evenley from A43 roundabout to County border.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during lining works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Gayton Road, Eastcote from the junction of Hillcrest Road to Gayton Road, Pattishall.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during defect repairs.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 2nd September 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Preston Deanery Road, Quinton as set out below.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Preston Deanery Road, Quinton from the junction of School Lane to Park House Farm.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during works to water main.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 19th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(A508 HARBOROUGH ROAD, KELMARSH)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PARKING IN LAYBYS & TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that West Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from parking in laybys and prohibit traffic from exceeding 30 mph along that length of the A508 Harborough Road, Kelmarsh as specified in the Schedule out below.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during Shambala.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for 18 days.

LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Brixworth Road, Spratton from Ashtree Farm to the junction of Olde Hall Close.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pipe repair works.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during repairs to chamber, cover and frame.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 20th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary.
