What is happening?

(PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (SPRING HILL) 
(NO. 1)TRAFFIC ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act) and all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police made the above Order on 13 August 2024.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit motor vehicles from entering or proceeding in SPRING HILL, MAIDENHEAD to facilitate the creation of a pedestrian and cycle route in connection with the new development at this location.

A vehicle turning head would be created at the junction with Manor Lane, and emergency services vehicles would be exempt from the prohibition.

or alternatively at Maidenhead Library, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF, 
between the hours of 9:30am-5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 12:30pm-5:30pm Wednesday, 11am-7pm Thursday, 10am-4pm Saturday, and 11am-2pm Sunday.

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that a requirement of that Act or of any relevant Regulation made under it, has not been complied with, may, within six weeks from 13 August 2024 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
