Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough King Street, Maxey, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-091

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Green Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 18/08/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing test works have been completed or until the 17/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place from 23:00hrs on the 18/08/2024 to 06:00hrs on the 19/08/2024. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 –  7 Hinchcliffe Footpath, Orton, Peterborough. Ref: 25-092

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/cycle path known as 7 Hinchcliffe Footpath, Orton as lies between 1 and 7. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Hinchcliffe, Scotendon, Hinchcliffe and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 19/08/2024 and will continue until the water meter exchange works have been completed or until the 18/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 –  St Martins Street, Millfield, Peterborough. Ref: 25-093

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as St Martins Street, Millfield, as lies between Lincoln Road and Highbury Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Lincoln Road and Highbury Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 19/08/2024 and will continue until the new gas connection works have been completed or until the 18/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 19/08/2024 and the 21/08/2024. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footway/cycle way known as Lincoln Road Footway, Werrington, as lies between Sheldrick Walk and Greenacres. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footway/ cycle way. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Sheldrick Walk, Greenacres and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 20/08/2024 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 19/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 –  Bridgehill Road, Newborough, Peterborough. Ref: 25-095

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Bridgehill Road, Newborough, as lies between Werrington Bridge Road and Drain Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Drain Road, B1443 Thorney Road, Werrington Bridge Road and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 29/08/2024 and will continue until the overhead electricity upgrade works have been completed or until the 28/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between 09:00hrs and 17:00hrs on the 29/08/2024 only. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Silver Hill, Hargate Way, The Serpentine, London Road, Hampton Avenue and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 27/08/2024 and will continue until the new inspection over existing storm drain works have been completed or until the 26/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 27/08/2024 and the 10/09/2024.
