(B741) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2024

On 20th August 2024 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power Works.

Temporary Road Closure - B741

From 235m West of Meikle Farm to 215m North of Maneight Farm.

The Order commences on 10 September 2024 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 10 September 2024 at 07:00 with the closure remaining in place until 02 October 2024 at 17:00. The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions, but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians' out-with the working zone will be maintained.

An alternative route will be signed via Diversion Route - Ayr Road A713, B742, A70, A76 and Vice Versa.

Diversion Route for High Sided Vehicles - Ayr Road A713, B742, A70, B730, B7046, U728 ,A70, A76 and Vice Versa.
