RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r llwybr a adwaenir fel Llwybr Troed Cyhoeddus Rhif 14 yng Nghymuned Betws Garmon o bwynt A (Cyfeirnod Grid Arolwg Ordnans SH 54608, 56336) sydd wedi ei leoli ger pont dros Reilffordd Ucheldir Cymru oddeutu 93 metr i’r gorllewin o Ffordd yr A4085, gan ddilyn y llwybr mewn cyfeiriad cyffredinol de orllewinol am bellter o oddeutu 1184 metr hyd at bwynt B ger Tir Comin Uwch Gwyrfai (Cyf. Grid AO SH 53588, 55910)

Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar sail iechyd a diogelwch i’r cyhoedd yn ystod gwaith atgyweirio’r llwybr ac oherwydd coed peryglus. Yn anffodus, nid oes llwybr amgen addas ar gael.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 25ain o Awst 2024 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na chwe mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y llwybr, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua chwe mis. Os na chwblheir y gwaith o fewn chwe mis gellir ymestyn y Gorchymyn am gyfnod pellach o chwe mis gyda chaniatâd Llywodraeth Cymru.

(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.14 IN THE COMMUNITY OF BETWS GARMON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person to proceed in either direction along that length of Public Footpath No.14 in the Community of Betws Garmon from point A (Ordnance Survey Grid Reference SH 54608, 56336) which is located near a bridge over the Welsh Highland Railway approximately 93 metres west of the A4085 Road travelling in a general south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 1184 metres to point B near Uwch Gwyrfai Common Land (OS Grid Ref. SH 53588, 55910).

The Order is necessary on health and safety grounds to the public due to dangerous trees and repair works.

Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative route.

The Order comes into effect on the 25th of August 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. If the work is not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a further period of six months with the approval of the Welsh Government. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately six months.
