What is happening?

Notice of Proposals Borough of Torbay
(Off Street Parking Places) Amendment Order No4 2024

Torbay Council proposes to make the above Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to amend the existing measures in the “Borough of Torbay (Off Street Parking Places) Order 2023”, as follows:-

Zone 2 Parking Places
Torquay
Cockington Court Craft Centre car park
Cockington Cycle Hub car park
Cockington Village car park
Daily Parking Charges (charges apply 7am to midnight) 
Parking period up to: Tariff
Up to 1 hour £1.70
Up to 2 hours £2.90
Up to 3 hours £4.10
Up to 4 hours £5.30
Up to 24 hours6 £10.10

Orders Revoked
“Borough of Torbay (Cockington Off Street Parking Places) Order 2021”
Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order may be inspected between 9:00am and 5:00pm each working day on the self-service computers at the Torbay Council Connections Office, Paignton Library and Information Centre, Great Western Road, Paignton, TQ3 3HZ. The documentation may also be viewed online at the following web address: www.torbay.gov.uk/proposedtros

All objections and representations relating to the Order must be submitted in writing to the address given below, or via email at parking@torbay.gov.uk to arrive no later than Tuesday 3rd September 2024 and all objections must state the grounds on which they are made.
