PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (U41531 High Street, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Worcester (High Street, St. Andrews Street and Winnetts Lane, Droitwich) (One-Way) Order 1961 (Temporary Suspension (part)) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U41531 High Street from its junction with U41530 Worcester Road to its junction with U41533 Tower Hill and to temporarily (part) suspend The County of Worcester (High Street, St. Andrews Street and Winnetts Lane, Droitwich) (One-Way) Order 1961 to allow for two-way traffic on U41531 High Street to be able to access residents and businesses during the Order.
Reason: Replacement electricity cable by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U41530 Queen Street, B4090 Saltway, U41535 Priory Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days (24hrs). Commencing: 9 September 2024.
(C2033 Woodgate Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2033 Woodgate Road from its junction with C2179 Whitford Bridge Road to its junction with U22200 Coalash Lane.
Reason: Drainage/flood alleviation work by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2033 Woodgate Road, C2033 Moorgate Road, B4091 Hanbury Road, C2079 Forest Lane, C2033 Tyrells Lane, C2033 Woodgate Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 9 September 2024.
(U21201 Fairfield Road, Bournheath) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U21201 Fairfield Road from its junction with C2062 Doctors Hill for a distance of 150 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: BT pole replacement by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2062 Doctors Hill, U21200 Dodford Road, U21201 Fairfield Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 11 September 2024.
(B4185 Golden Cross Lane, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4185 Golden Cross Lane from its junction with U21546 Green Lane for a distance of 100 metres in an easterly direction.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4185 Gibb Lane, B4185 Meadow Road, B4091 Stourbridge Road, A491 Sandy Lane, A38 Lydiate Ash Roundabout (National Highways), A38 Halesowen Road, A38 Birmingham Road, B4185 Golden Cross Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 19 August 2024.
(C2059 Woodcote Lane, Dodford) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2059 Woodcote Lane from its junction with C2062 Dordale Road to its junction with U13605 Woodcote Green Lane.
Reason: To renew existing BT pole in verge side by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2062 Dordale Road, C2062 Bradford Lane, C2062 Church Road, B4188 Drayton Road, C2017 Drayton Road, C2017 Briar Hill, A448 Kidderminster Road, C2059 Woodcote Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 20 August 2024.
(Link Footpath F20634 Linking Oak Road to Golden Cross Lane, Catshill) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F20634 linking Oak Road to Golden Cross Lane from its junction with U21527 Golden Cross Lane (service road) to its junction with U21525 Oak Road.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U21525 Oak Road, B4185 Golden Cross Lane, U21527 Golden Cross Lane (service road) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 9 September 2024.
(U22000 Moorgate Road, Stoke Prior) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Moorgate Road from its junction with C2045 Stoke Pound Lane for a distance of 197 metres in a south easterly direction.
Reason: Boundary box Installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2045 Stoke Pound Lane, C2045 Copyholt Lane, U22200 Coalash Lane, C2033 Woodgate Road, C2179 Whitford Bridge Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 19 August 2024.
(U41646 Nunnery Avenue, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U41646 Nunnery Avenue from its junction with U41600 Old Coach Road to its junction with U41630 Manning Road.
Reason: New vehicle crossing (dropped Kerb) by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U41646 Nunnery Avenue (part), U41600 Old Coach Road, U41644 Stalls Farm Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 August 2024.
(Link Footpath F20626 Rigby Lane to Penshurst Road, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F20626 Rigby Lane to Penshurst Road from its junction with U21302 Rigby Hall for a distance of 160 metres in a northeasterly direction.
Reason: New/replacement electricity cable by National Grid.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U21302 Rigby Lane, U21370 Drummond Road, U21310 Fulton Close, Link Footpath F20566 Samsara Road (between No. 20-22), U20021 Samsara Road, U20020 Penshurst Road, Link Footpath F20626 Rigby Lane to Penshurst Road (part) and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of B4551 Bromsgrove Road from its junction with C2002 St Kenelm's Road to its junction with U20622 Poplar Lane.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by MVKelly Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of U21066 Brueton Avenue from its junction with U21067 Hampton Avenue for a distance of 150 metres in a south westerly direction.
Reason: New Vehicle crossing (dropped kerb) by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U21067 Hampton Avenue, U21065 Warwick Avenue, U21066 Brueton Avenue and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 August 2024.
(U41701 Kidderminster Road, Droitwich Spa) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U41701 Kidderminster Road from its junction with U41701 Vines Lane to its junction with C2255 Kidderminster Road Roundabout.
Reason: Railway maintenance by Murphy World Class Infrastructure.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U41704 Kidderminster Road, U41705 Union Lane, C2254 Ombersley Way, C2255 Salwarpe Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 nights (23:00-05:00). Commencing: 19 August 2024.
(U21340 Chapel Street, Bromsgrove) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U21340 Chapel Street from its junction with U21374 High Street to its junction with U21341 Windsor Street.
Reason: Upgrade of Public Realm by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion route for pedestrians only: U21341 Windsor Street, A448 Stratford Road, U21374 High Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 180 days (24hrs) (weekday works only). Commencing: 19 August 2024.
