Yateley Road, Temporary Prohibition Of Driving Due To Carriageway Repair Works
What is happening?
BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL
(YATELEY ROAD, SANDHURST) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
a) Yateley Road, Sandhurst between High Street, Sandhurst, and the borough boundary.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by section (a) of this Order will be via Yateley Road, Sandhurst Road, B3272 Reading Road, Mill Lane, Ambarrow Lane, A321 Wokingham Road, B3348 Dukes Ride, Waterloo Road, Church Street, Sandhurst Road, Crowthorne Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out carriageway repairs.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 3rd September 2024 at 20:00, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on 3rd September 2024 at 20:00 until 4th September 2024 at 06:00. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
