Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
TUNBRIDGE WELLS AREA
A262 Goudhurst Road & Flishinghurst Lane, Cranbrook TN17 2QD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A262 Goudhurst Road & Flishinghurst Lane, Cranbrook, on or after 8th September 2024 for up to 20 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junctions of A262 Goudhurst Road and Flishinghurst Road.
The A262 Goudhurst Road will be closed on 8th September 2024 and 15th September 2024, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic on A262 Goudhurst Road is via A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Cranbrook Road, A262 Church Road, A262 High Street, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 Station Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst Bypass, A21 Scotney Castle Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 London Road, A268 Hawkhurst Road, A268 High Street, A229 Cranbrook Road, A229 Gills Green, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Hartley Road, A229 Angley Road, A229 Wisley Green, A229 Wisley Pound, A262 Goudhurst Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic on Flishinghurst Lane is via Chalk Lane, B2085 Glassenbury Road, A262 Goudhurst Road.
A267 Frant Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water service repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A267 Frant Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Tettenhall, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A267 Frant Road, A267 Nevill Street, A26 London Road, A264 Church Road, A264 Crescent Road, A264 Calverley Road, Bayhall Road, Forest Road, A267 Frant Road and vice versa.
B2023 Prospect Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells TN2 4SN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow signal loop repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2023 Prospect Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 5th September 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of A264 Calverley Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 05:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A264 Calverley Road, A264 Crescent Road, Mount Pleasant Road, B2023 Grove Hill Road, B2023 Prospect Road and vice versa.
B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst TN17 1AT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow remedial works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2079 Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside White’s Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2079 Bedgebury Road, B2079 Balcombes Hill, A262 The Plain, A262 West Road, A262 Clayhill, A262 Station Road, A262 Spelmonden Road, A262 Goudhurst Road, A262 Horsmonden Road, A21 Forstal Farm Roundabout, A21 Lamberhurst By-pass, A21 Scotney Castle Roundabout, A21 Hastings Road, A21 London Road, B2079 Lady Oak Lane, B2079 Bedgebury Road and vice versa.
B2085 Glassenbury Road, Cranbrook TN17 2QJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2085 Glassenbury Road, Cranbrook, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Angley Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via B2085 Glassenbury Road, A229 Hartley Road, A229 Angley Road, A229 Wilsley Green, A229 Wilsley Pound, A262 Goudhurst Road and vice versa.
Hog Hole Lane, Lamberhurst, TN3 8BN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hog Hole Lane, Lamberhurst, on or after 21st August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Broomfield and Maitlands. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hog Hole Lane, B2100 The Slade, B2169 The Down, B2169 Furnace Lane, Neills Road, Hog Hole Lane and vice versa.
Marle Place Road, Horsmonden TN12 8DT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marle Place Road, Horsmonden, on or after 6th September 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junction of Ruck Lane to the junction of B2162 Lamberhurst Road, between the hours of 08:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ruck Lane, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.
Speldhurst Road & Lampington Row, Langton Green, TN3 0JE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & NO LEFT TURN RESTRICTION) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new electric connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Speldhurst Road & Lampington Row, Langton Green, on or after 19th August 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
Speldhurst Road will be closed between the junction of Lampington Row to Little Stonewall. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There will be a No Left Turn restriction on Lampington Row on the junction with Speldhurst Road.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Speldhurst Road, Langton Road, Speldhurst Hill, Etherington Hill, Speldhurst Road, A26 St. John’s Road, A26 Mount Ephraim, A264 Mount Ephraim, A264 Bishops Down, A264 Langton Road, The Green, Speldhurst Road and vice versa.
Spelmonden Road, Horsmonden TN12 8EF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new sewage main connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Spelmonden Road, Horsmonden, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Hazel Street Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Spelmonden Road, B2162 Lamberhurst Road, Ruck Lane and vice versa.
Stockland Green Road, Speldhurst TN3 0TS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow service disconnection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stockland Green Road, Speldhurst, on or after 3rd September 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Rosemary Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stockland Green Road, Etherington Hill and vice versa.
The Green, Matfield TN12 7LA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water meter works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Green, Matfield, on or after 2nd September 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Seymour Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via The Green, B2160 Maidstone Road and vice versa.
