Meadway (D5520) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Meadway (D5520) Haslemere as extends from its junction with (B2131) Liphook Road and for a distance of 30 metres in a southerly direction along Meadway. Alternative Route: Meadway, and Loin Mead, (B2131) Junction Place, and (B2131) Liphook Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to carry out new gas mains connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 28 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 10 September 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, and will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access for residents will be via the diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.4) 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate carriageway patching and/or major maintenance works which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 2 September 2024. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained at all times. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

- that length of C28 Tilford Road, Tilford which extends between its northernmost junction with D104 Tilford Street and its southernmost junction with D104 Tilford Street. Alternative Route – D104 Tilford Street;
- the entire length of D111 Eglington Road, Rushmoor. Alternative Route – D111 Lowicks Road, C28 Tilford Road and D111 Grange Road;
- that length of D5318 Arthur Road and D5318 Weydon Hill Road, Farnham which extends from its junction with A287 Firgrove Hill to its junction with X84119 Ridgway Hill Road. Alternative Route – A287 Firgrove Hill and B3384 Ridgway Road.
Liphook Road (B2131) Haslemere
Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2024
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Sections 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on both sides of the carriageway in that length of Liphook Road (B2131) Haslemere from a point in line with the common boundary between property No.21 and No.23 Liphook Road to its junction with (D5520) Meadway. This Temporary Order is required to facilitate gas mains renewal works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 28 days, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which commences on 10 September 2024. This temporary restriction, which is anticipated to be in affect 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).
