What is happening?

Temporary Road Closure – Hambledon Road/Red House Lane, Clanfield, East Hampshire

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED:

Hambledon Road between its junction with Hinton Manor Lane and its junction with Peak Road.

Red House Lane between its junction with Hambledon Road and its junction with South Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: South Lane, Downhouse Road, Lovedean Lane, Milton Road, Hambledon Road, West Street, East Street, Hambledon Road

DURATION OF ORDER: from 29th August 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:00 – 15:30).

The Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Southeast Tree Cutting to carry out removal of dangerous trees. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: leo@benchmarkpermits.co.uk

Southeast Tree Cutting will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
