What is happening?

(Arnolds Farm Lane, Mountnessing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Arnolds Farm Lane, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 85m south west then south east of its junction with Church Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M112304 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber rebuild works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Old Church Road and vice versa (access only Arnolds Farm Lane).
The Order will come into effect on 21st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Sandpit Lane, South Weald) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sandpit Lane, South Weald in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 455m south of its junction with Danbury Close for a distance of approximately 280m in a southerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th September 2024 for 35 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30007641235 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Sandpit Lane, Weald Road, Western Road, Western Avenue, Ongar Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 21st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.11) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on those lengths of roads as specified in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
2. “The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 21st August 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.Network. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/ leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Middleton Road, Shenfield From its junction with Shenfield Road to its junction with Worrin Road a distance of approximately 520m.
Mount Crescent, Warley From its junction with Hartswood Road to its junction with Headley Chase a distance of approximately 620m.
Queenswood Avenue, Hutton From both of its junctions with Pinewood Way a distance of approximately 470m.
Lambourne Drive, Hutton From its junction with Hutton Drive to its junction with Fairview Avenue a distance of approximately 180m.
Roth Drive, Hutton From its junction with Hanging Hill Lane to its end a distance of approximately 480m.
Randalls Drive, Hutton From both of its junctions with Chelmer Drive a distance of approximately 240m.
Kings Chase, Brentwood From its junction with Kings Road to its end a distance of approximately 440m.
The Furlongs, Ingatestone From its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 930m in a north westerly direction.
(Footpath 123, Herongate & Ingrave) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 123 Herongate & Ingrave in the Borough of Brentwood, from the junction with Middle Road to its junction with St Nicholas Grove for approximately 140 metres.
Works will be completed in two halves, access to Footpath 50 will be provided.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 27 August 2024 to 30 August 2024 where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure id required for the safety of the public and workforce while repairs works to the footpath are undertaken.
Alternative route will be via: Middle Road, Brentwood Road, St Nicholas Grove and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 27 August 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Mountnessing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Crossby Close to its junction with Arnolds Farm Lane a distance of approximately 405m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 23rd August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2363312 – Essex County Council).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Church Road, Roman Road, Mountnessing – Ingatestone Link Road, Roman Road, High Street, Stock Lane, Ingatestone Road, Stock Road, Stock Road Roundabout, Queens Park Avenue, Perry Street Roundabout, Perry Street, Mountnessing Road, Old Church Lane, Old Church Road, Church Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Spains Hall Road, Willingale) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Spains Hall Road, Willingale in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with The Street for a distance of approximately 85m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th August 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411SA001WF6CFK0N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole provision works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Fyfield Road, Willingale Road, Queen Street, Ongar Road, Fyfield Road, Four Wantz Roundabout, High Ongar Road, High Ongar Road Straightening, Chelmsford Road, Chelmsford Road Straightening, Bassetts Lane, Pigstye Green Road,
Spains Hall Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 7th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Borough of Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.8) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 7th August 2024, exact dates will be specified on one.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.

Blackmore Road, Blackmore From its junction with Wenlocks Lane to its junction with St Lawrence Gardens a distance of approximately 975m. Blackmore Road, Tipps Cross Lane, Hook End Road, Mill Lane, Wyatts Green Road, Mountnessing Road, Ingatestone Road, The Green, Blackmore Road and vice versa.
