Evington Road - Temporary Restrictions For Network Reinforcement Works Taking Place

THE LEICESTER (EVINGTON ROAD) (TEMPORARY) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicester City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be, for the following anticipated period of time to:
Prohibit the movement of all vehicles on Evington Road between its junctions with St Stephens Road and with Beckingham Road from 7.30am on Saturday 17th August 2024 until 6.00pm on Friday 23rd August 2024.
Diversion route: Beckingham Road, Kimberley Road, Mayfield Road, London Road.
This order is necessary due to network reinforcement works taking place and to prevent the likelihood of danger to the public.
This Order will come into effect on the 17th August 2024 and will continue in force for up to 18 months, or until the order is no longer deemed necessary, whichever is the earlier.
Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
