What is happening?

THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL OF STOCKPORT (WOODLANDS DRIVE AND OFFERTON LANE, OFFERTON) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Metropolitan Borough Council of Stockport proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffc Regulation Act 1984, the Road Traffc Act 1991 and the Traffc Management Act 2004 the effect of which will be to introduce No Waiting at Any Time Woodlands Drive, both Sides From the intersection of the north eastern projected kerb line of Offerton Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a north easterly direction. Offerton Lane, North Eastern Side From a point 24 metres north west of the intersection of the north western projected kerb line of Woodlands Drive to a point 17 metres south east of the south eastern projected kerb line of Woodlands Drive. Full details of these proposals are set out in the draft Order which, together with the map and statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be viewed at the following link https:// www.stockport.gov.uk/proposed-traffc-regulations-in-your-area However, if you do not have access to the internet, then please contact Legal Services at Town Hall Stockport SK1 3XE in order to obtain a hard copy. Any person wishing to object to this proposed Order should write, specifying their grounds for objection, to the undersigned (or by email to traffc@stockport.gov.uk) on or before 10 September 2024 quoting reference ZLA/4092745.
