What is happening?

(Brownlow Green, Barstable) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Brownlow Green, Barstable in the District of Basildon, from its junction with Brownlow Bend to its end a distance of approximately 45m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 9th September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311WD28642006 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works are undertaken by Openreach.

No alternative route is available for this closure.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Daws Heath Road/Bramble Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Western Road to a point approximately 80m in a south easterly then south westerly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Bramble Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Daws Heath Road to its junction with Moorcroft Avenue a distance of approximately 30m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD08000102 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

Alternative routes are available via:

1. Western Road, Rayleigh Road and Daws Heath Road.

(Gardiners Lane North, Ramsden Grays) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Gardiners Lane North, Ramsden Grays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Gardiners Lane South to its junction with North Road for a distance of approximately 80m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 1st September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN301399562 – Essex and Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

Alternative routes are available via:

1. Gardiners Lane North, London Road, Crays Hill, Hardings Elms Road, Pipps Hill Road North, Southend Arterial Road, Gardiners Lane North.

2. Gardiners Lane North, Southend Arterial Road, Upper Mayne, Hony Hill Roundabout, South Wash Road, Wash Road, Harding Elms Road, Crays Hill, London Road, Gardiners Lane North.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Rawreth Lane, Rawreth) (Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Rawreth Lane, Rawreth in the District of Castle Point, from a point approximately 470m west of its junction with Down Hall Road eastwards for a distance of approximately 70m in both easterly directions. The temporary speed limit is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN0101495580 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The speed reduction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

An alternative route is available via Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Southend Arterial Road, Fairglen Interchange, Carnew Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, London Road, Bread and Cheese Hill, Kiln Road, London Road and vice versa (with access only into Rayleigh Road).

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Ronald Drive, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ronald Drive, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Louis Drive for a distance of approximately 85m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th September 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDN8T618 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

An alternative route is available via Ronald Drive, London Road, Southend Arterial Road, Eastwood Road, Eastwood Road West, Arundel Road, Queens Road, Louis Drive and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(St Michaels Road/Bramble Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close that length of St Michaels Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Moorcroft Avenue to its end a distance of approximately 55m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Bramble Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with St Michaels Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD8WN003 – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Trinity Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Trinity Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Leslie Road for a distance of approximately 55m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 2nd September 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN030247603065 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while installation of a new supply works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

An alternative route is available via Eastwood Road, Websters Way, Bull Lane, Jubilee Road and vice versa (with access only into Trinity Road).

The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.4) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Basildon, as detailed in the Schedule.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 15th August 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway patching works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

Access for emergency service vehicles and to properties within the affected areas will be maintained at all times. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

The alternative route will be as detailed and signed on site. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Various Roads, Borough of Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.19) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Effect of the order:

1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Basildon as specified in the schedule to this Order.

2. Temporary No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restrictions will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works being undertaken in the roads. No Waiting restrictions will be in force.

The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary No Waiting at Any Time restrictions and temporarily suspend any existing waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other waiting restrictions will continue in force.

The closures and No Waiting restrictions are scheduled to commence on 15th August 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair and maintenance works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route will be as detailed and signed on site. Access for emergency service vehicles and to properties within the affected areas will be maintained at all times. The Order will come into effect on 15th August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
