What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 - KIRKLEES COUNCIL
(BANK GATE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bank Gate, Slaithwaite from its junction with Nabbs Lane to a point approximately 40 metres South of property no. 11 Bank Gate PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Bank Gate, Longlands Road, Heys Lane, Clough House Lane, North Lane, Holme Lane, Nabbs Lane and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Saturday 24 August 2024 and will remain in force until 2 September 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(GYNN LANE, HONLEY, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Gynn Lane, Honley from its junction with Marsh Platt Lane to its junction with Woodroyd Avneue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hall Ing Lane, Brockholes Lane, New Mill Road, Gynn Lane
It is intended that the closure will commence on Tuesday 27 August 2024 and will remain in force until 29 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(HOLMFIELD ROAD, CLAYTON WEST, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Holmfield Road, Clayton West from its junction with Holmfield to its junction with Holmfield Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Holmfield Road, Church Lane, High Street, Holmfield Close, Holmfield Road and vice versa It is intended that the closure will operate on Wednesday 28 August 2024 for approximately one day (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(HANSON LANE, LOCKWOOD, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Hanson Lane, Lockwood from a point outside property no. 72 Hanson Lane to a point outside property no. 54 Hanson Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Hanson Lane, Meltham Road, Butternab Road, Beaumont Park Road, Hanson Lane and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will operate on Thursday 29 August 2024 for approximately one day between the hours of 19:00 and 23:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(MOOR SIDE LANE, SLAITHWAITE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Side Lane, Slaithwaite from its junction with Tiding Field Lane to approximately 90 metres westbound along Moor Side Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Moor Side Lane, Pole Gate, New Hey Road, Quebec Road, Waller Clough Road, Mellor Brook, Highfield Road, Moorside Lane and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will operate on Monday 12 August 2024 for approximately one day only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(FOOTPATH HUD/202/10 FROM PRIESTLEY GROVE TO EDALE AVENUE, NEWSOME, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath HUD/202/10 from Priestley Grove to Edale Avenue, Newsome from its junction with Edale Avenue to its junction with the footpath at the rear of 20-112 Edale Avenue PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via Edale Avenue, footpath between 32-38 Edale Avenue, foot path to the rear of 20-112 Edale Avenue and vice versa. To be used by pedestrians only
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 30 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary)
(FOOTPATH HOL/14/70 OFF HANGING STONE ROAD, BERRY BROW, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the footpath has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in that length of Footpath HOL/14/70 off Hanging Stone Road, Berry Brow from a point either side of railway bridge PEH/19 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out the proposed works.
Alternative routes for persons affected by the closure will be available via:- Diversion route 1 - Footpath HUD/196/20, footpath HUD/196/10, footpath HOL 15/10. Footpath 17/60, Northgate, footpath HOL 16/30 and vice versa
Diversion route 2 - Footpath HOL 14/60, footpath 14/100, footpath 15/10, Northgate, footpath HOL 16/30 and vice versa
The footpath will be inaccessible whilst the works are in progress however it will be re-opened each day when works are not in progress.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 16 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 6 months if necessary)
(ROYD STREET, MILNSBRIDGE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Royd Street, Milnsbridge from its junction with Royd Street to its junction with Crow Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Dale Street, Market Street, Scar Lane, Crow Lane
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 25 October 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(TOWN END ROAD, WOOLDALE, HOLMFIRTH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (NO 2) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Town End Road, Wooldale from its junction of Clifton Avenue to a point approximately 24 metres south west along Town End Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Town End Road, New Mill Road, Robert Lane, Town End Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Wednesday 14 August 2024 and will remain in force until 16 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
(LOWER WELLHOUSE ROAD, WELLHOUSE, HUDDERSFIELD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lower Wellhouse Road, Wellhouse from its junction with Upper Wellhouse Road to its junction with Lower Wellhouse Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Lower Wellhouse Road, Upper Wellhouse Road and vice versa
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 12 August 2024 and will remain in force until 30 August 2024 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary)
