NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC – ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SHRIGLEY ROAD NORTH, POYNTON WITH WORTH

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Shrigley Road North, Poynton with Worth – From the junction with Anson Road to the junction with Coppice Road.

The alternative route will be via Anson Road, Middlewood Road, Coppice Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on 26th August 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 31st August 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Gaw End Lane, Sutton – For the full extent.

The alternative route will be via Gaw End Lane, London Road, Sparrow Avenue, Albatross Way and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 12th August 2024 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 20th September 2024.
