The East Sussex (Public Footpath Herstmonceux 33a (part)) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2024
To protect public safety during the installation of a foul water sewer and drainage channel, the formation of a swale and pond and the construction of outfall pipework and associated works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following footpath:
Temporary Footpath Closure
Part of Public Footpath Herstmonceux 33a will be closed to all users between TQ 6453 1222 (Windmill Hill Road) and TQ 6455 1209 for a distance of 170 metres. Unfortunately, an alternative route is not available.
The closure will be in force for 6 months from 12 August 2024, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier, which after this period will require an extension from the Secretary of State, should the footpath still be unavailable to use If you require any further information, you should telephone the Rights of Way Office on 0345 60 80 193.
The East Sussex (U7136 Bell Walk, Uckfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Bell Walk – from the junction with B2101 Bell Lane for the entire length of the bus station.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible.
The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 30 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C114 Muddles Green, Chiddingly) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Muddles Green – from the junction with U7675 Rosemount to Westgates.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with a route for through traffic via C114 Muddles Green, Burgh Hill Road – A22 Golden Cross – C330 Nash Street, Thunders Hill, Gun Hill, Pick Hill – C114 Stonehill, Hale Green, Scrapers Hill, Muddles Green and vice versa.
The Order commences 9 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken on 9 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U7692 Mill Lane, Hellingly) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Mill Lane – from the junction with U7693 Station Road to the junction with U7079 Vicarage Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7693 Station Road – C208 Park Road – U7692 Mill Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 14 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 14 and 18 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U7853 Cackle Street, Maresfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
Cackle Street – from the junction with U7854 Huggetts Lane to the junction with A22 Courtlands Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via A22 Courtlands Road, Horney Common Road – U7854 Huggetts Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 14 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 14 and 16 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C8 The Drove, Offham) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow East Sussex Highways to carry out works, East Sussex
County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;
Temporary Road Closure
The Drove – 80 metres either side of the level crossing.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C8 The Drove – U5012 Hamsey Lane – A275 Cooksbridge Road, The Street – C8 The Drove and vice versa.
The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 22:00hrs to 05:00hrs between 12 and 16 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C14 Tunbridge Wells Road, Mayfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Tunbridge Wells Road – from the junction with A267 Mayfield bypass to the junction with C14 High Street.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C14 High Street, Station Road, Stone Cross – A267 Mayfield bypass and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 13 and 15 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C321 Newick Hill, Fletching Common, Newick) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Newick Hill – from the junction with C321 Fletching Lane to the junction with U5003 Jackies Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C321 Newick Hill – A272 Western Road, Station Road – A275 East Grinstead Road – C321 Lane End Common, Fletching Lane and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 13 and 15 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5447 Southdown Road, Seaford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow South East Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Southdown Road – from the junction with U5452 Headland Avenue to the junction with C30 Sutton Avenue.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via C30 Sutton Avenue – U5524 Arundel Road – U5452 Headland Avenue and vice versa.
The Order commences 13 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 13 and 15 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (U5661 Bishops Lane, Ringmer) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time/ Suspension of parking) Order 2024
To allow Thakeham Homes to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily impose a temporary prohibition of waiting at any time in the following length of road;

To allow Southern Water to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

West Street – from the junction with U7728 North Road to the junction with U7727 Sloe Lane.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic via U7728 North Road, The Furlongs, Deans Road, Weavers Lane – C39 High Street – U7726 Waterloo Square, West Street and vice versa.
The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier.
However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 19 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The East Sussex (C214 Swing Gate Hill, Burwash Common) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
To allow Balfour Beatty to carry out works, East Sussex County Council have made an Order under Sections 14(1) and 15(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which will temporarily close the following length of road;

Swing Gate Hill – from the junction with C275 Spring Lane to the junction with A265 Heathfield Road.
A safe route will be provided for pedestrians and vehicular access for residents and to properties maintained whenever possible with an alternative route for through traffic signed and maintained for the duration of the works via C214 Witherenden Hill, Station Road – C83 Cottenden Road – C212 Battenhurst Road, Shrub Lane – A265 High Street, Heathfield Road and vice versa.
The Order commences 12 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken between 12 and 14 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.

The Order commences 13 August 2024 and lasts for a period of 18 months, or until works are completed, whichever is earlier. However, it is anticipated works will be undertaken from 20:00hrs to 06:00hrs on 13 and 14 August 2024 depending upon the weather conditions.
