ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 202* VARIOUS STREETS IN THE BOROUGH (Reference 24/138)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under section 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Amendment Order will be to introduce lengths of yellow lines as set out in the schedule to this Notice.

3. Copies of further particulars relating to the Order: -

(a) can be inspected, quoting Reference 24/138, at the Civic Centre (Central Reception, ground floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham between 9.15am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays, except for Bank and other public holidays; and

(b) may be viewed on the Council's web-site at http://www.richmond.gov.uk/public_notices

4. Persons wishing to object to or support the proposals or any part thereof should write to the Head of Engineering, Traffic and Parking Policy, London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, Civic Centre,

To introduce double yellow lines ("no waiting at any time") in Worple Way between its junction with Princes Way and the end of the cul de sac.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 (1)

Temporary Road Closure Railway Road, Teddington.

(Reference 24/136)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate water connection works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Railway Road, Teddington.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Railway Road outside numbers 16 to 21.

3. The order will come into effect on 20 August 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 20 August to 22 August 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. An alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Shacklegate Lane, Church Road, Somerset Road, and Railway Road and vice versa.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Greville Close, Twickenham.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Greville Close at the junction with Amyand Park Road.

3. The order will come into effect on 12 August 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 12 August to 16 August 2024. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Road Closure Old Palace Lane, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Old Palace Lane, Richmond.

2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Old Palace Lane from outside number 27 South westwards for a distance of approximately 30 metres.

3. The order will come into effect on 14 August 2024. The works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from on 14 August 2024 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

(c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND UPON THAMES (FREE PARKING PLACES) (PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES) (AMENDMENT No. **) ORDER 202* DISABLED PERSONS PARKING BAYS VARIOUS STREETS THROUGHOUT THE BOROUGH (Reference 24/137)

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames propose to make the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The principal objective of the Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order is to introduce a number of parking places for disabled persons where a high level of parking makes reasonable means of access difficult.

3. The Disabled Persons' Parking Places Order will introduce a parking bay for disabled persons' vehicles, operating "at any time" in the following streets:

Adelaide Road, Richmond Grove Avenue, Twickenham Meadlands Drive, Ham Prospect Crescent, Twickenham Sunnyside Road, Teddington

Cresswell Road, Twickenham

Kings Road, Twickenham

Orchard Road

(St Margarets Road), Twickenham

To revoke disabled persons' parking bays in the following streets:-
