What is happening?

THE FIFE COUNCIL (GRANGE ROAD, DUNFERMLINE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2024

Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of Grange Rd (from Elgin Ind Est to entrance of Grange Mount). The Order is to allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 19/08/24 to 11/09/24 or until earlier completion of the works.

The alternative route for through traffic will be via Elgin St, B9156 (Nethertown Broad St), A823 (St. Leonards St, Hospital Hill, Queensferry Rd), Primrose La and Grange Rd.

Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained. Any queries regarding this Notice should be directed to Traffic Management, Roads & Transportation Service, Bankhead Central, Bankhead Park, Glenrothes, Fife KY7 6GH or by e-mail to traffic.management@fife.gov.uk.
