ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
OAKS ROAD. CROYDON TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telegraph poling works on behalf of Openreach, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Oaks Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Oaks Road will be closed outside Nos. 26 to 50 Oaks Road.
3. Whilst the closure is in force the alternative route for traffic will be via Shirley Hills Road, Coombe Lane and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 23 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum duration of 18 months to be reintroduced if further works are required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) a vehicle being used to carry out the said work.
(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
LAYTON CRESCENT. CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic in Layton Crescent.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place, Layton Crescent will be closed in two sections, one at a time, between its junction with Denning Avenue and No. 21 Layton Crescent, and between its junction with Denning Avenue and No. 22 Layton Crescent.
3. During the closures, the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Layton Crescent and Denning Avenue. Access for residents will be maintained via the signed diversion. Access to properties will be maintained.
4. The Order will come into operation on 29 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 02 October 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

SANDFIELD ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas connection works by SGN, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Sandfield Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Sandfield Road will be closed outside Nos. 31 and 33 Sandfield Road.
3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be via Norbury Avenue, Beulah Hill, Parchmore Road, and vice versa, or via Norbury Avenue, County Road, Parchmore Road, and vice versa.
4. The Order will come into operation on 27 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CLIFTON ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate telecom works on behalf of Vodafone, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Clifton Road, South Norwood.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Clifton Road will be closed between its junction with Whitehorse Lane and the common boundary of Nos. 133 and 131d Clifton Road.
3. During the closure the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Clifton Road, Rothesay Road, Farnley Road, Whitehorse Lane and reversed, as appropriately signposted.
4. The Order will come into operation on 12 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the work will be carried out in five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works by SGN, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements in Portnalls Road, Rickman Hill Road, Hollymead Road, Hollymeoak Road and Coulsdon Lane, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Portnalls Road, Rickman Hill Road, Hollymead Road, Hollymeoak Road and Coulsdon Lane, will be closed at their shared junction.
3. Whilst the closure is in force the diversion route for vehicular traffic will be via Portnalls Road, Chipstead Valley Road, Brighton Road, Farthing Way, Brighton Road, Hogcross Lane, High Road, and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 12 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 01 September 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any person or vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

HANDCROFT ROAD. CROYDON NOTICE OF TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate new water connection works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an
Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict cycle traffic in Handcroft Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place the cycle lane on the east side of Handcroft Road between Sumner Road and Dennett Road will be closed.
3. During the closure cycle traffic will be diverted via Dennett Road, Mitcham Road, Hatton Road, Sumner Road and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 18 August 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS
COLVIN ROAD & WHITEHALL ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate electric cable laying works at Thornton Heath Bus Garage, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements and parking in Colvin Road and Whitehall Road, Thornton Heath.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
a) Whitehall Road will be closed between its junction with London Road and the entrance to Thornton Heath Bus Garage.
b) Parking bays outside Nos. 9 to 11, Nos. 17 to 19 and Nos. 8 to 10 Whitehall Road, and parking bays along the entire length of Colvin Road will be suspended, and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time".
c) One-way working in Whitehall Road, between its junctions with London Road and Colvin Road, and in Colvin Road, will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.
3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via London Road, Thornton Road, Colvin Road, and reversed, as appropriately signposted.
4. The Order will come into operation on 08 August 2024, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 09 August 2024. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extents as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate utility connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Teevan Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Teevan Road will be closed between the north-western boundary of No. 20 and the common boundary of Nos. 37 and 39 Teevan Road.
