Notice is hereby given that the Isle of Wight Council in not less than seven days from the appearance of this Notice, under Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the following Orders: -

The Isle of Wight Council (East Ashey Lane, Brading, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 5 2024

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Friday 16 August 2024, and Monday 19 August 2024 or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along East Ashey Lane, Brading, from its junction with Brading Footpath 25, and its junction with Ashey Manor. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during carriageway repair works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that for one shift between Friday 16 August 2024, and Tuesday 20 August 2024, or when the works have been completed, no person shall cause any pedestrian or cyclist to proceed along Longhalves Lane, Freshwater between its junction with Parkers Hill and its junction with School Path. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during Footpath repair works.

The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for safety during drainage works.

The One-Way restriction will be revoked between its junctions with Solent Gardens and Colwell Road. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The restrictions are required for utility works and to allow access to premises.

Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 1830 hours on Monday 19 August 2024 until 0600 hours on Friday 23 August 2024, or when the works has been completed, The Mall will be closed between its junctions with Wrax Road and Church Lane. The alternative route will be signposted locally. The closure is required for utility works.

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 16 August 2024 and Friday 15 November 2024 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 15 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance and investigation works to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of roads on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Exact dates, durations and access information will be communicated to affected businesses and residents via letter and on street advanced warning signs before the scheme commences.
