THE A36 TRUNK ROAD (LIMPLEY STOKE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (a) has made an Order on the A36 trunk road in the County of Wiltshire to allow surveys and associated maintenance works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to take place commencing on or after 12 August 2024 and be completed by 1 March 2025.
The effect of the Order will be to authorise the closure of the A36 northbound and southbound between the junction with Midford Lane and the junction with Waterhouse Lane.
During the closure described above traffic will be diverted via junctions of the A36 and local roads.
Access to and from premises that are accessible from and only from the A36 will be maintained during the works.
The closures (which will not apply to emergency services or works vehicles), and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs throughout the works.
The Order will come into force on 10 August 2024 and have a maximum duration of 18 months.
