The Dorset Council (Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No. 5) (Stapehill Road, Hampreston) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 16 August 2024 the effect of the Order will be to introduce 'no waiting at any time' restrictions at Stapehill Road, Hampreston from the school keep clear markings to the entrance to New Cottages and from Mellow Mead to Shires Mead.

The County of Dorset (A35, A350, B3067 & Longmeadow Lane, Upton)

(30mph Speed Limit) (No. 13) Order 2024

Dorset Council in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 16th August 2024 the effect of the Order will be to introduce new lengths of 30mph speed limits along sections of the A35, A350, B3067 and Longmeadow Lane at Upton.

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleway E54/16, Three Legged Cross

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway E54/16, Three-Legged Cross from grid reference SU 08950 06089 to grid reference SU 08956 05583, a distance of approximately 580 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 6 September 2024 for a period of 26 weeks, but it may be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.

This Order is required due to a dangerous bridge in need of replacement.

The alternative route will be E54/17 and E54/14.

Temporary Southbound Closure of Blandford Road North, Upton

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding SOUTHBOUND along Blandford Road North, Upton between Upton Roundabout and Dorchester Road, a distance of approximately 560 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28th August 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30th August 2024

This Order will enable SGN, safe access to carry out emergency works to replace gas main following a gas escape.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
