(U11417 Coniston Crescent, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U11417 Coniston Crescent from its junction with U11418 Rydal Close to its junction with U11412 Windermere Way.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by MV Kelly Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U11417 Coniston Crescent (part), U11412 Windermere Way and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days (24 hrs). Commencing: 29 August 2024.
(U10501 Park Lane, Bewdley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U10501 Park Lane
from its junction with U10505 Barratts Stile Lane to its junction with U10532 Snuff Milk Walk. Reason: Utility work by OCU Group.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U10501 Park Lane (part), B4190 Load Street, B4190 Welch Gate, B4190 Winbrook, U10512 Merricks Lane, U10509 Birch Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.
(A449 Chester Road North, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of A449 Chester Road North from its junction with U12522 Linden Avenue to its junction with U12520 Lyndholm Road.
Reason: Renew manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Chester Road North (part), A456 Birmingham Road, A456 Coventry Street, A451 The Ringway, A448 Comberton Hill, A448 Comberton Road, A449 Chester Road North (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 14 August 2024.
(C2192 Menith Wood to Malvern Hills Boundary, Menith Wood) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2192 Menith Wood to Malvern Hills Boundary from its junction with U95614 Fox Lane to its junction with Coppice Close (NSG Ref. 24411243).
Reason: Valve installation by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U12502 Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) and The Wyre Forest District Council (Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1981 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U12502 Villiers Street from its junction with U12501 Lorne Street to its junction with A449 Chester Road North and to temporarily suspend The Wyre Forest District Council (Villiers Street, Kidderminster) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1981 to allow two-way traffic access for residents and businesses.
Reason: Water maintenance works in carriageway and footway by Severn Trent Water. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A449 Chester Road North, A448 Comberton Road and U12501 Lorne Street. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.
(C2186 Tandys Lane, Chaddesley Corbett) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2186 Tandys Lane from its junction with C2185 Woodrow Lane to its junction with U13602Hill Pool.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2186 Tandys Lane (part), A450 Worcester Road, C2185 Woodrow Lane, C2186 Tandys Lane (part) and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 12 August 2024.
(A4535 Sutton Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of A4535 Sutton Road from its junction with U12131 Talbot Street to its junction with A451 Stourport Road.
Reason: Road surfacing for new puffin crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A456 Bewdley Road, A456 Park Butts Ringway, A456 St. Marys Ringway, A451 The Ringway, A451 Stourport Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 months. Anticipated duration: 4 nights (19:00 to 0600) between the dates of 2 September and 30 September 2024.
(U12101 Woodward Road/U12108 Poplar Road, Kidderminster) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of Closure 1: U12101 Woodward Road from its junction with A4535 Sutton Road for a distance of 35 metres in a westerly direction. Closure 2: U12108 Poplar Road from its junction with A4535 Sutton Road for a distance of 37 metres in a westerly direction.
Reason: Ancillary work to enable installation of new Puffin crossing on Sutton Road.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion Closure 1: U12101 Woodward Road - U12101 Woodward Road (part), U12100 Connaught Avenue, B4549 Sutton Park Road, A4535 Sutton Road and vice versa. Diversion Closure 2: U12108 U12101 Woodward Road (part), U12100 Connaught Avenue, B4549 Sutton Park Road, A4535 Sutton Road and vice versa.
Poplar Road - U12108 Poplar Road (part), U12109 Stretton U12108 Poplar Road (part), U12109 Stretton Road, U12113 Greatfield Road, A4535 Sutton Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 29 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.
(U11016 Abberley Avenue, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11016 Abberley
Reason: Replacement of manhole cover by Severn Trent Water.

Order made: To close that part of Closure 1 - U40011 Manor Lane from its junction with A449 Worcester Road for a distance of 62 metres in an easterly direction.
Closure 2 - A449 Worcester Road Right Hand Filter Lane Northbound from its junction with A449 Worcester Road to its junction with U40011 Manor Lane.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2141 Lincomb Lane from its junction with U40015 Lincomb Bank to its junction with Winnall Lane (NSG Ref 45401530).
Reason: New customer connection by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2141 Lincombe Lane (part), A4025 Stourport Road, C2142 Bishops Wood Lane, C2142 Bishops Wood Road, C2141 Lodge Bank and vice versa.

(U13207 Solcum Lane, Wolverley) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U13207 Solcum Lane from its junction with C2019 Blakeshall Lane for a distance of 80 metres in a north westerly direction.
Reason: To renew existing BT pole by HSC Worcester Ltd.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2019 Blakeshall Lane, U13206 Solcum Lane, U13207 Solcum Lane and vice versa.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U12160 Blackwell Street from its junction with A456 St. Marys Ringway Roundabout to its junction with Swan Centre (NSG Ref 45703075).
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: Diversion anticlockwise: U12160 Blackwell Street (part), U12160 Coventry Street, A456 The Ringway, A456 St. Marys Ringway Roundabout.
Diversion clockwise: A456 St. Marys Ringway Roundabout, A456 The Ringway, U12148 Green Street, U12150 Dixon Street, U12147 New Road, U12156 Worcester Street, U12160 Blackwell Street (part).
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 5 September 2024.
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) (Wyre Forest District - Kidderminster area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2007 (Variation) Order 2024 [Prohibition of Waiting on Broad Street/Duke Street, Kidderminster]
On 25 July 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Kidderminster:-
Broad Street (south west side)- From its junction with Duke Street for a distance of 16m in a southerly direction and 8m in a northerly direction.
From its junction with Duke Street for a distance of 16m in a southerly direction and 8m in a northerly direction.
Duke Street (south east side)- From its junction with Broad Street for a distance of 10m in a western southerly direction.
Duke Street (north west side)- From its junction with Broad Street for a distance of 10m in a western southerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 15 August 2024. The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
(U11524 Raven Street, Stourport on Severn) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U11524 Raven Street from its junction with A451 Bridge Street for a distance of 62 metres in a Westerly direction up to the entrance for the Raven Street Carpark.
Reason: Damaged wall at risk of collapse by Wyre Forest District Council.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A451 Bridge Street, U11522 New Street, U11523 Martins Way and vice versa.
NB: Raven Street Carpark will remain open. Follow diversion route via Martins Way for access to carpark.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 55 days (24hrs) from 23 July 2024.
(Footpaths RB-534 Ribbesford & RK-735 Rock) (Temporary Closure Order) 2024
Order made: To close Footpaths RB-534 Ribbesford & RK-735 Rock for their entire length.
The Order has been made due to a dangerous footbridge.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: is along Footpath RK-734, C2194 Heightington Lane, Footpaths RK-731 in Rock, then RB-505, RB-509, RB-512 in Ribbesford parish. The proposed Order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months continuing on from 19 July 2024.
