(B4205 Sansome Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1977 (Temporary Suspension (part) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of B4205 Sansome Street from its junction with A38 Foregate Street to its junction with A38 Sansome Place and to temporarily part suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1977 for the duration of the works to allow access to businesses and residents.

Reason: Overhead works by Fletcher Access Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: A38 Foregate Street, U53102 Pierpoint Street, A38 Sansome Walk, A38 Sansome Place.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 1 September 2024.

(U51111 Cranham Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U51111 Cranham Drive from its junction with B4639 Cotswold Way to its junction with U51200 Windermere Drive.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4639 Cotswold Way, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, U51200 Tolladine Road, U51200 Windermere Drive and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days between 11 August 2024 and 30 August 2024.

(U54132 Windsor Avenue, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of U54132 Windsor Avenue from its junction with U54133 Laugherne Road to its junction with U54131 Blenhiem Road.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U54133 Laugherne Road, U54000 Oldbury Road, U54130 WoodStock Road, U54131 Blenheim Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 4 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.

(U50366 Bevere Close, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of U50366 Bevere Close from its junction with U50367 Bevere Close South to its junction with U50368 Sheldon Park Road.

Reason: Installation of dropped kerb vehicle crossing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: U50366 Bevere Close (part), U50365 Green Lane, U50319 Northwick Road and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 14 August 2024.

Order made: To close that part of U51312 Holly Mount Road from its junction with B4637 Tolladine Road to its junction with U51309 Sycamore Road.

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(B4636 Newtown Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of B4636 Newtown Road from its junction with B4205 Midland Road to its junction with U51330 Sherriff Street.

Reason: Hydrant renew in carriageway by Severn Trent water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: B4636 Newtown Road, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, B4637 Tolladine Road, B4205 Shrub Hill Road, B4205 Midland Road and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of Link Footpath F50056 Foley Road to Bromyard Road (alongside school) from its junction with A449 Bromwich Road to its junction with U54247 Foley Road.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link F50321 Bearcroft Avenue (between No 41/43) from its junction with U51190 Bearcroft Avenue for a distance of 37 metres in a north westerly direction.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50323 Howcroft Green (o/s no. 11) from its junction with Link Footpath F50322 Tolladine Road (between Playgrounds) to its junction with U51193 Howcroft Green.

Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50028 Pitchcroft Lane from its junction with U50027 Barbourne Walk for a distance of 277 metres in an easterly direction.

Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Diversion northbound: U50027 Barbourne Walk, U50030 Sandys Road, U50031 Pope Iron Road. Diversion Southbound: U50027 Barbourne Walk, U50025 Somers Road, U50025 Lyttleton Street and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 2 days between 2 September 2024 and 13 September 2024.

(Link Footpath F50446 Stock Coppice Close (between 34 & 47), Warndon) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50446 Stock Coppice Close (between 34 & 47) from its junction with B4638 Woodgreen Drive to its junction with U51190 Bearcroft Avenue.

Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken. There will be no access for vehicles during the work.

Alternative route: B4638 Woodgreen Drive, Link Footpath F50320 Tolladine Road to Woodgreen Drive, Link Footpath F50321 Bearcroft Avenue (between no. 41/43), U51190 Bearcroft Avenue and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2064 Suckley Road from its junction with U62249 Orchard Way to its junction with U62248 Suckley Road.

Reason: New Customer Connection by Severn Trent Water.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(C2138 Dilmore Lane, North Claines) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024

Order made: To close that part of C2138 Dilmore Lane from its junction with U41002 Jacob Ladder Lane to its junction with U41006 Lower Town.

Reason: Replacing of anti-corrosion materials and street furniture on the gas pipeline by ACAPS.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Please note: no access for emergency vehicles, follow diversion route.

Alternative route: C2138 Dilmore Lane (part), U41002 Jacob Ladder Lane, C2138 Danes Green, C2138 Dilmore Lane (part) and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of U41207 Smite Lane from its junction with A4538 Pershore Lane to its junction with U41206 Brown Heath Lane

Reason: Upgrade and maintain the integrity of the gas network by Anglia Cathodic Protection Services Ltd.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
