(C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury, Peopleton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury from its junction with U47402 Monks Way for a distance of 133 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Replacement manhole cover and frame by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2115 Peopleton to A422 Upton Snodsbury (part), C2115 Peopleton Lane, A422 Broughton Hackett to Upton Snodsbury, A422 Alcester Road, A44 Evesham Road, A44 Evesham Road to Egdon to Stonebow Road, C2115 Stonebow to Peopleton, C2115 Main Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day. Commencing: 15 August 2024.
(C2116 Main Street, Elmley Castle) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of C2116 Main Street from its junction with C2116 Elmley Castle to Ashton Under Hill to its junction with U46603 Mill Lane.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2116 Elmley Castle to Ashton Under Hill, C2116 Elmley Road, C2116 The Groaten, A46 Cheltenham Road (National Highways), C2007 Haselor Lane to Honton Cross, C2007 Netherton Lane to Haselor Lane, C2007 Netherton Lane, C2116 Main Street and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
5 days. Commencing: 12 August 2024.
(C2047 Station Road, Offenham) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2047 Station Road from its junction with B4085 Blackminster to its junction with U45207 Merry Lane.
Reason: Take down and rebuild parapet wall by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2047 Station Road (part), B4510 The Cross, B4510 Offenham Road B4035 Badsey Road, A46 Evesham Bypass roundabout (National Highways), B4035 Badsey Road, B4085 Birmingham Road, B4085 Blackminster and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration:
6 days (24hrs). Commencing: 1 September 2024.
(C2117 Handgate Lane, South Lenches) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2117 Handgate Lane from its junction with U43606 Evesham Road for a distance of 100 metres in a north easterly direction.
Reason: Provide safe working area by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U43606 Evesham Road, C2263 Main Street, C2011 Atch Lench Road, C2011 Atch Lench Road to Leys Road, C2117 Handgate Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024.
(B4085 Blackminster, Badsey) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4085 Blackminster from its junction with C2047 Station Road to its junction with U45208 Clayfield Road.
Reason: Railway Maintenance (level crossing) by Network Rail.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4085 Blackminster (part), B4085 Cleeve Road, B4510 Cleeve Road to Three Cocks Lane, B4510 Evesham Road, B4510 Offenham Road, B4035 Badsey Road, A46 Evesham Bypass (National Highways), B4035 Badsey Road, B4085 Birmingham Road and vice versa.

(U43606 Evesham Road, Church Lench) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U43606 Evesham Road from its junction with C2117 Handgate Lane for a distance of 27 metres in a northerly direction.
Reason: Safe working for engineers during underground utility works in verge by Openreach.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U43606 Evesham Road (part), C2263 Main Street, C2011 Atch Lench Road, C2011 Atch Lench Road to Leys Road, C2117 Handgate Lane and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days. Commencing: 2 September 2024. (C2008 Back Lane to Pershore Road, Great Comberton) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2008Back Lane to Pershore Road from its junction with U46613 Quay Lane to its junction with Church Lane (NSG Ref45405665).
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: C2008 Back Lane to Pershore Road, C2008 Hollands Road, B4080 Tewkesbury Road, B4080 Pershore Road, B4080 Eckington Road, A4104 Defford Road, B4536 Defford Road, B4536 Broad Street, B4084 Bridge Street, C2007 Goodleigh Hill, C2008 Pershore Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 9 days between 2 September 2024 and 12 September 2024.
(U46421 Nafford Road, Eckington) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U46421 Nafford Road from its junction with U46422 Upper End for a distance of 764 metres in an Easterly direction.
Reason: Electricity cable replacement by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U46421 Nafford Road, C2008 Hollands Road, B4080 Tewkesbury Road, B4080 Church Street, U46421 New Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days. Commencing: 12 August 2024.
Section 23 Establishment Of A Zebra Crossing on B4035 Main Street, Bretforton Village
To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
NOTICE is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council propose to establish a Zebra Crossing to serve pedestrians in Bretforton Village as follows:-The site of the crossing will be located on B4035 Main Street, Bretforton at a point 27 metres east of its junction with Victoria Gardens.
