ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 3 (PART) HINTS PARISH TEMPORARY CLOSURE

Notice is hereby given that the Staffordshire County Council, on 6/2/24, made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any persons from proceeding along the section of Public Bridleway No. 3 Hints Parish from its junction with Public Footpath No. 1R/2868 Hints Parish for approximately 629m in a north-westerly direction to its junction with Public Bridleway No. 18 Hints Parish.

The closure is required under the provision of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 Section 14 (1) (b) by reason of the likelihood of danger to users of the Public Bridleway due to the condition of the paths surface.

A plan has been displayed on site to show the alternative route provided, length of path to be closed and the unaffected rights of way in the area.

This Order came into operation on 9/2/24 and has been extended for a further period of six months, until 9/2/25 or until the risk of danger to the public is over, whichever is the earlier. This extension has been given approval by the Secretary of State. If necessary, the Order may be extended for a further period.
