East Dean Road, Romsey - Temporary Road Closure due to Works.
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
EAST DEAN ROAD, ROMSEY, TEST VALLEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of East Dean Road between its junction with a point opposite
no. 14 East Dean Road and its junction with a point approximately 330 metres East
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: East Dean Road, Lockerley Road, B3084, Saunders Lane, Danes Road, A27, A36, Grimstead Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 19th August 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 3 days, working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out works.
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
