NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE ORDER SECTION 14 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL
(BA27/3 & 6, KEYNSHAM RUGBY CLUB) TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a path closure to public footpath BA27/3 commencing from a junction with BA27/5 and BA27/68 at ST 6529 6902 and proceeding in a generally NW direction for approx 840m to a junction with Durley Lane at ST 6461 6950 and public footpath BA27/6 commencing from a junction with Durley Hill (A4175) at ST 6476 6898 and proceeding in a generally N direction for approx 413m to a junction with public footpath BA27/3 at ST 6482 6938.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way; namely, Bath & North East Somerset Council are proposing to carry out drainage and ditch clearance works along the route of the public right of way. The Order will come into force on 2nd September and will be effective for four weeks.

Public footpath BA27/5 - Bristol Road (A4175) - Durley Hill (A4175) - Durley Lane. Vice Versa.
