(Hollinhurst, Allerton Bywater, Leeds)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road Closure required for gas main replacements Leeds City Council has made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Hollinhurst, Allerton Bywater, Leeds in the Kippax & Methley Ward between its junctions with Leeds Road and Hollinhurst. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Leeds Road and Hollins Grove. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 12th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure to build new substation Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Drury Lane, Horsforth, Leeds in the Horsforth Ward between its junctions with Drury Lane and Stoneythorpe. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: New Street, Kerry Hill, Town Street Stoneythorpe, Back Lane and Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 12th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council has made an Order, the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Foundry Place, Harehills, Leeds in the Gipton & Harehills Ward between its junctions with Foundry Place and Foundry Approach. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Foundry Place, Foundry Drive, Foundry Avenue, Foundry Approach and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 12th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Road closure for gas mains replacement Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: Highbury Road, Headingley, Leeds in the Weetwood Ward at the junction with Highbury Mount. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Highbury Mount, Highbury Street, Monk Bridge Road, Highbury Road and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 29th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to install cable overlay. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Frankland Grove, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Hamilton Place and Frankland Place and no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Frankland Place, Chapeltown, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward between its junctions with Francis Street and Louis Street. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Francis Street, Hamilton Place, Louis Street and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Thursday 29th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for works to replace gas main. Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along School Lane, Collingham, Leeds in the Harewood Ward between its junction with Millgarth Court to outside 8 Millgarth Court Westbound. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to turn left onto School Lane, Collingham from the following streets: Millgarth Court, Garth Avenue, Garth End, Hollybush Green and Jewitt Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Jewitt Lane, Main Street, Leeds Road, School Lane (eastbound). Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 27th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The Council of the City of Leeds has made the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH AIREBOROUGH NO.121) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close to pedestrians the length of Definitive Map Footpath Aireborough No.121 – from Millbank to the corner of 28 Otley Lane. The diversion route is via Otley Lane, Haworth Lane, and Queensway, and vice versa. The Order is necessary to enable gas main replacement works to be undertaken on or near the footpath. The Order will come into operation on 13th August 2024 and may continue in effect until 13th February 2025, or until such time as the works are complete, which is anticipated to be 23rd August 2024. (Speed Limit) (No.4) Order 2022
Claro Mews & Wharfe Court Otley – 20 mph Speed Limit
Leeds City Council has today made the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order, which comes into force on 12th August 2024 is to introduce a 20 MPH Speed Limit on the full lengths of Claro Mews & Wharfe Court, Otley. A copy of the Order together with a plan showing the affected sections of highway may be obtained by e-mailing legal.development@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
(Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restrictions) (No. W05) Order 2023
Henshaw Lane Yeadon – Waiting Restrictions
Leeds City Council has today made the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order which comes into effect on 12th August 2024 is to introduce 1. No Waiting at any Time on sections of: Church Crescent (both Sides); Church Street, (both sides); Gill Lane, (both sides); Henshaw Lane (both sides); Henshaw Mews, (both sides); Henshaw Mews, (SW Side) and Parkland View, (both sides). 2. No Waiting (Monday to Saturday (between 8.00am to 6.00pm) on Gill Lane (south side); from a point 10m NW of its junction with Henshaw Lane, in a westerly direction for 59m. Leeds City Council has today made the above Orders under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Orders which comes into effect on 12th August 2024 is to introduce: 1. A 20 MPH Speed Limit on lengths of Meanwood Rd; Monk Bridge Rd; Shaw La; Stainbeck Ave and Stonegate Rd. 2. No Waiting at any Time on sections of Bentley Gdns & La; Gordon Vw; Meanwood Rd; Meanwood Valley Grn; Monkbridge Rd and Stainbeck Ave. 3. On Street Time Limited Parking on sections of Meanwood Rd (All Days 9am to 4pm) (30 minutes, no return within 1 hour). 4. A Prohibition of left turns from Meanwood Rd onto Monkbridge Rd. 5. A Prohibition of Right turns from Green Rd onto Stonegate Road; and also from Monkbridge Rd to Meanwood Road, Meanwood. 6. Mandatory left turns from Stonegate House access road to Stonegate Rd and also from Austhorpe Rd to Stonegate Rd, Meanwood. 7. One way Traffic Flow (NE to SW) on sections of Back Stonegate Rd and Gordon Vw, Meanwood. (Traffic Regulation) (Waiting Restriction) (No.7) Order 2024
Leeds City Council proposes to make the above Order under its powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to introduce:- No Waiting at Any Time on: Oakhampton Court, Roundhay – both sides from its junction with the projected S western kerb line of Park Ave for 10m S westerly Park Avenue, Roundhay –- SW side from 10m NW of its junction with the projected N western kerb line of Oakhampton Court to 10m SE of its junction with the projected S eastern kerb line of Oakhampton Court Wetherby Road, Roundhay – (i) NE side from 25m W of its intersection with the projected western kerb line of Elmete Ave for 110m Easterly; and (ii) S side from its junction with the projected western kerb line of Elmete Ave for 27m Westerly York Gate, Otley North side (i) from 54m W of its junction with the projected western kerb line of the access road to York Gate Quarry Car Park for 112m Easterly; and (ii) – from 49m E of its junction with the projected eastern kerb line of the access road to Surprise View Car Park for 112m Westerly.
