What is happening?

MAIDENHEAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Cox Green Lane from western boundary of property known as “Temeraire”eastward to eastern boundary of property known as “Lynton”.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Cox Green Lane, Cox Green Road, Shoppenhangers Road, Highfield Lane and Cox Green Lane.
The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate work in the said public highway, namely leaking main repair and as a result there is the likelihood of danger to the public.
The proposed Order shall come into operation from 09:30 hours on Tuesday 27 August until 16:00 hours on Friday 30 August 2024. There will be a prohibition of driving when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
