Minehead Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

Somerset Council Parish of Bishop's Lydeard Temporary Closure of Minehead Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Minehead Road -from the junction with Dene Cross Roundabout, south-eastwards for a total distance of 354 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to install a new connection to the mains.

The Order becomes effective on 8th August 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 14th August 2024 and last until 23rd August 2024 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 9 nights.
