Notice is given that the Council of the City of Peterborough has made an Order pursuant to section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:

The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order – Linkside footpath – 2024. Ref: 25-072

The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/ cycleway known as Linkside footpath, as lies between Bretton Way and Outfield footway. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycleway. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is: Bretton Way, Linkside and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on 14/08/2024 and will continue until the electrical connection works have been completed or until the 07/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Crawthorne Road. Ref: 25-102

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Crawthorne Road, as lies between Cathedral Green Court and Stanley Road. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Broadway, Eastfield Road and vice versa and Broadway, Northminster, New Road. The proposed order will come into force on the 11/08/2024 and will continue until the pipework replacement works have been completed or until the 10/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place on the 11/08/2024 and the 18/08/2024, between 08:00hrs – 18:00hrs. The City of Peterborough Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024 – Newborough Road. Ref: 25-098

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Newborough Road, as lies between the A47 and Manor Drive. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is: Guntons Road, B1443, A16, A47 and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 12/08/2024 and will continue until the water main diversion works have been completed or until the 11/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 12/08/2024 and the 23/08/2024. The City of Peterborough Tallington Road, Bainton, Peterborough. Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic Order 2024. Ref: 25-088

The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Tallington Road, Bainton as lies between points 20 Metres either side of Bainton Village Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Tallington Road, B1443 Helpston Rd, King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, A1175 Stamford Rd and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 11/08/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing maintenance works have been completed or until the 10/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place overnight between 23:30hrs on the 11/08/2024 to 05:00hrs on the 12/08/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as Windmill Street, Millfield, as lies between Gladstone Street and Harris Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Gladstone Street, Searjeant Street, Harris Street and vice versa. The proposed order will come into force on the 12/08/2024 and will continue until the electrical installation works have been completed or until the 11/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 12/08/2024 and the 16/08/2024. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as King Street, Maxey as lies between points 20 metres either side of Bainton Green Level Crossing. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: B1443 King St, West St, Glinton Rd, Helpston Rd, A15, Maxey Rd, High St and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into force on the 18/08/2024 and will continue until the railway level crossing test works have been completed or until the 17/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place from 23:00hrs on the 18/08/2024 to 06:00hrs on the 19/08/2024. The effect of which is to stop any pedestrian or cyclist from proceeding along the footpath/ cycle path known as 7 Hinchcliffe Footpath, Orton as lies between 1 and 7. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footpath/cycle path. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Hinchcliffe, Scotendon, Hinchcliffe and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 19/08/2024 and will continue until the water meter exchange works have been completed or until the 18/02/2025, whichever is the earlier. The effect of which is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along the road known as St Martins Street, Millfield, as lies between Lincoln Road and Highbury Street. The Council is satisfied that traffic should be prohibited due to proposed works being executed on the above road. The alternative route for vehicles affected by this order is via: Lincoln Road and Highbury Street. The proposed order will come into force on the 19/08/2024 and will continue until the new gas connection works have been completed or until the 18/08/2025, whichever is the earlier. Closure dates will be confirmed locally on site. It is anticipated that the works will take place between the 19/08/2024 and the 21/08/2024. The Council is satisfied that pedestrians and cyclists should be prohibited due to works being proposed to be executed on the above footway/cycle way. The alternative route for pedestrians and cyclists affected by this order is via: Sheldrick Walk, Greenacres and vice versa. The proposed Order will come into operation on the 20/08/2024 and will continue until the new electrical connection works have been completed or until the 19/02/2025, whichever is the earlier.
