Elms Drive, Kirk Ella - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Carriageway Repair Works

What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL 
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ELMS DRIVE, KIRK ELLA (PART)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Elms Drive, Kirk Ella (between number 30 and West Ella Road) commencing Tuesday 27 August 2024 to enable carriageway repair works to take place. The road closure is necessary to enable the closure to go ahead in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. 

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days.

The alternative route for traffc affected by this closure will be via the remainder of Elms Drive, Church Lane, Beverley Road and West Ella Road, Kirk Ella.

Access will be maintained for pedestrians and emergency services.
