Victoria Street, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Bridge Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL VICTORIA STREET, SALTAIRE, SHIPLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of bridge works proposed to be executed on or near Victoria Street, Saltaire, Shipley intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Victoria Street from its junction with Wharf Street to its junction with Salts Mill Road.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Victoria Street (unaffected section), Salts Mill Road, Otley Road, Commercial Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 17th August 2024 until 22:00 hours on the 18th August 2024 and 09:30 hours on the 19th August 2024 to 15:30 hours on the 19th August 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
