Rillington Mead, Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Due To Electrical Works

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL RILLINGTON MEAD, ECCLESHILL, BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of electrical works proposed to be executed on or near Rillington Mead, Eccleshill, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Rillington Mead from its junction with Riccall Nook to a point outside No. 23 Rillington Mead.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Rillington Mead (unaffected section), Ruswarp Crescent, Rookwith Parade, Riccall Nook and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 20th August 2024 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 29th August 2024 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
