(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U1002 Blakelaw Junction To Campfield Junction from its point 95 metres south of its junction with Carham Berwick Borough Footpath 011 heading northwards for a distance of 240 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 30th August 2024 until the 17th September 2024.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 30th August 2024 until the 3rd September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 on weekdays during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 17th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U1002, C23, C20, C21 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Go Fibre to install 3 poles for overhead lines. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
