B6342 SHIELHILL TO CAMBO WALLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6342 Shielhill To Cambo Wallington from its junction with track from the B6342 Shielhill to Cambo to a point 100 metres north west of the C160 for a length of 1040 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 26th August 2024 until the 26th February 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th August 2024 until the 6th September 2024 and then from 16th September 2024 until the 20th September 2024 between the hours of 08:00 until 17:00 during these periods; however, the order will remain in place until 26th February 2025.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B6342, B6343, C157, C156, A696 and vice-versa.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council for civils and resurfacing works.
In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
