A1068 HADSTON TO RADCLIFFE, HADSTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of highways in the County of Northumberland.
A1068 Widdrington To Hadston from a point 234 metres south of its junction with the C114 to the A1068 Hadston to Radcliffe for a length of 3355 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the U6005, B1330, C107, C117, B1337 and vice-versa.
A1068 Hadston to Radcliffe from the A1068 Widdrington to Hadston to a property named Croftside for a length of 970 metres.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A1068, B6345, B1330, U6005 and vice-versa.
The Order is to be effective from the 2nd September 2024 until the 2nd March 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd September 2024 until the 7th September 2024 between the hours of 21:00 until 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd March 2025.

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council to complete white lining works. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
