What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Lofthouse Village, Lofthouse, Order 2024, No. 269
We have made this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using Lofthouse Village, Lofthouse for a temporary period (subject to access to premises) between 12/08/24 & 23/08/24, due to facilitation of a new connection. However, the max duration of this Order is until 28/02/25. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. Various Roads, Ripon, Parking & Waiting, No 27, Order 2024 Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which will be to amend “North Yorkshire Council (Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Harrogate) Consolidation Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:- Table - Waiting Prohibited at All Times With Exemptions U3236/2/50 Old Park Mews, Ripon, Both sides, from a point 3 metres North of centreline of the junction of Old Park Mews and Park Street continuing in a Northern direction for 8 metres. C377/2/20 King Street, Ripon, East side, from a point in line with the Southern property
boundary of 6 King Street, continuing in a Northern direction following the kerb line for 26.9 metres. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall, Northallerton & Ripon Library, The Arcade, Ripon HG4 1AG during normal office hours from 08/08/24 to 29/08/24 & also viewed online at
